Christmas time is when we feel happy and jolly
Decorations everywhere and what about the holly
Port and rum give a glow to our cheeks
It's the time of year when we all give a speech

Artistically wrapped, our presents so neat
We rip off the paper, it falls at our feet
Balloons go "Bang", amid squeals of delight
Just look at the turkey, what a lovely sight

Bowls of goodies arranged here and there
With last year's toys hidden under the stairs
Of course, the tree looks shimmering and bright
With all kinds of knick-knacks and flickering lights

Perched on the top in her silvery dress
A most gorgeous fairy, that I love the best
But Christmas is time for a carol or two
So I'll say, "Merry Christmas", from me to you!
