Whose Fool?

Please buy me a petticoat tomorrow
With ruffles and ribbons galore
One in the palest of colours
You choose it, I'll love it, I'm sure

Be a dear and buy me a necklace
Something all shiny and blue
You have such exquisite taste, love
It will always remind me of you

And now I shall give you a present
A jersey in a dark shade of green
But of course it may be too small, love
Never mind, for it should fit me!
